Inshes
Veterinary Centre is an exclusively small animal practice, treating all types of pets - large, small and tiny. The veterinary surgeons working here have, between them, a wide range of expertise, and are able to cope with most of the problems that arise. However, we are always willing to consider referring a case to someone with more specialised knowledge of a particular condition or species. The well-being of the animal is the overriding consideration. |
Call
in the experts As we said above, we like your animal to get the best possible level of attention. For ophthalmology we run a monthly referral clinic with a vet from outside the practice who have post-graduate qualifications in these subjects. |
Coming
to see us? Our consulting times have recently been changed to be as convenient as possible for our clients. Although there is no longer an open surgery, we will be able to see you at short notice if necessary.. Some of the morning appointments (9am-11am) are reserved for last minute booking of urgent cases. It is usually best to deal with one vet throughout a course of treatment so when making an appointment, please tell the receptionist which vet you would prefer to see. |
Keep
taking the tablets... For repeat prescriptions, we ask that you phone in advance. Your drugs will then be put out ready for collection. |
Out
of Hours Our normal phone number is answered at all times, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. when the surgery is closed, we use a professional veterinary answering service, who will take your call and pass it on to the vet on duty. |
Bereavement
When the time comes for your pet to die or be put to sleep, we do all we can to make this sad but inevitable event as bearable as possible. If you have any questions about cremation, return of ashes, burial etc please don't hesitate to ask. |
